Sebastian Mobile Mechanic

My driver side AC stopped blowing. I took my car to a well known shop and they wouldn't even attempt to give an answer and sent me to the dealer. Went to dealer and price was almost worth trading in for a new car. I tried one more shop, Sebastian Mobile Mechanic which was recommended by friends. They got it working, for now, but they have an idea of what's needed to fix it for half the price of the dealer. They said they would stand behind their work (after fully fixing issue). I highly recommend!

BMW 330i took it in for coolant slow leak inspection, told me everything looked good and they’d have to go into the heater core to find the leak and quoted me $450 for the heater for service. Asked if it was the coolant cap and they said no. Ordered a new $15 coolant cap and no more leak. Took it in for a VANOS exhaust solenoid cleaning/ replacement and crankshaft sensor replacement. Quoted me $1,200 to go into my engine and look at it. Then before that quote was approved they sent me engine replacement estimates. In total it would have been around $8k. My engine was at 50k miles when I took it in. Took it to another shop and got the exhaust solenoids, VANOS valve timing and crankshaft sensor replacement for $3k. Not to mention the shop that fixed it did not see any engine health issues. Also, when I first dropped the car off for the exhaust solenoids and crankshaft replacement they told me ahead of time that I would possibly be looking at an engine replacement. Not sure if they were trying to take advantage of me since I am a teenager or if they had poor diagnostics both times, but overall don’t go here unless you want to waste money on unnecessary “solutions”

A loved one of mine while traveling in the Yuma, AZ area encountered brake problems. She contacted Sebastian Mobile and was towed back to their shop at a reasonable cost. Sebastian is not cheap but they handled our situation with honesty and professionalism and had her back on the road in 24 hours. In a world laden with greed, lying, and theft it was refreshing to deal with a company which knows right from wrong and acts accordingly. McDonald Beavers

They made sure my vehicle was done thoroughly and there were no pending issues I would highly recommend them for your vehicle needs

TLDR? They will give you a quote, then tell you that the job needs more parts after it’s apart. They will charge you for an oil change you never signed for. They will send you photos of a damaged part, that isn’t actually damaged. The front desk put that the valve cover gaskets weren’t covered under their 2 year 24,000 mile warranty because it wasn’t diagnosed, I asked them to change the gaskets. Until I questioned that logic since you could see the leak when you popped the hood. The paperwork was then changed to say the work done was under warranty. The warranty eligibility is not on your receipt, it’s in their computer system. Got time to read? Here we go. I went in for leaking valve cover gaskets, got a quote for the job. Cool. They called me later after I dropped off my vehicle. They need to order more gaskets that they forgot to include in the original quote. Tack on over $150 more. Got a call, the car is ready. They said I needed new upper control arm ball joints, ball joints have torn boots. I said that’s odd, they are fairly new. And you can’t just install new ball joints, they’re aftermarket (JBA). They sent me photos, yep, big gash in the boot to the ball joint (photo
